So, Im bragging on one of my friends, Patti. She had such a great idea for her sons birthday party this year. She asked that the guests bring unwrapped presents to donate to The Collin County Childrens Adovacy Center rather than birthday gifts. I love this!!! The last birthday party we had for our kids....they got sooo much stuff, it was overwhelming. They receive so much from family alone....they really dont need more toys! What a great way to teach your children to give and to appreciate the things they have. And- invite all your guests to join you in the spirit of giving. Love your idea Patti!
